The EPRI offers short courses on SDH topics related to the design of social protection policies. Recently they have run courses in Thailand and Kenya.

Health and Society Summer School: Social Determinants of Health

This year's University College of London's Health and Society summer school on the Social Determinants of Health will run from the 9-13 July 2012.

Health in All Policies Training

Following the Health in All Policies Summer School that took place in Adelaide in 2011, the course organizers, the Government of South Australia and WHO will be issuing a commentated compilation of the course materials, to be made available in March/April 2012.

WHO -PAHO SDH e-course

The purpose of the Introductory Module is to raise awareness of and provide insight into the Social Determinants of Health (SDH) in order to reduce health inequities, and to encourage changes in the political agenda and contribute to a better administration of social justice and the progressive realization of human rights.

INTREC

INDEPTH Training and Research Centres of Excellence (INTREC) aims to build sustainable capacity for research on health and its social determinants in low and middle-income countries in Africa and Asia.

Peoples open access education initiative

People's open access education initiative, referred to as "Peoples-uni" is working actively to ensure better access to tertiary public health education in low and middle income countries through offering e-learning degrees and courses. In 2009-2010 Peoples-uni successfully pilotted an SDH module that it continues to offer.
